The maiden edition (Douala 2016) of The Corporate Awards looked into six key areas in HR, which we consider of great importance. With regards to people management and employee well-being, we cannot exhaust the complete areas of attention, hence our choice of these six to kick-start this initiative. The categories cut across investor in people, corporate social responsibility, employee engagement and empowerment, amongst others. Subsequent editions will be expanded to embrace more categories that will add value to the performance of the organisations. Here below are the categories considered for the pilot edition.
